Always read all the tiny print to find out exactly what the site can do and what it cannot do. My advice is to use a more mainstream or famous site. All though these sites can charge a heftier fee they are worth it for your identity to not be stolen.

Following on from tip #1, it is a good idea to use an alias. An alias is basically a made up name that you can go by online. So if your name is Jane Smith, use something like, hot_chick_81 or something… and if someone does actually ask for your real name, give them a fake one.
